Sangha, or Spiritual Community, is one of the three Buddhist Refuges which are often called the Three Jewels: the Buddha, the Dharma & the Sangha.
The Buddha considered Sangha the most precious on the spiritual path. One way our Sangha offers its support to Mountain Stream Meditation and the Nevada City Insight Center is by generously giving time, energy and metta (loving kindness). In return, Mountain Stream provides a sacred space to practice and gather. Your service is a dynamic and rich part of the mindfulness practice of dana (giving and receiving). Everyone benefits and is deeply grateful.
