Metta (Lovingkindness) Meditation Practice Circle
Peer-led, In Person Only
We meet every last Sunday of the month, 10:00 - 11:30 am - All are welcome
Facilitated by Dharma Practitioners Tim Cardoza and Priscilla Barton
Description: Metta (lovingkindess) meditation practices are a powerful part of the Buddha’s legacy. These practices have the ability to substantially deepen our feelings of love and connection with others and to help us transform difficult mind states such as fear and anger into more wholesome states of caring and kindness. Scientific studies on metta meditation practices have shown they can increase feelings of wellbeing and improve both mental and physical health.
The group format will include reading/chanting of the Karaniya Metta Sutta, Monthly Topic, Guided Meditation and Discussion
