Series Description: The intense sensations of emotional wounds can rule your life. To work with them in ways that support balance and confidence, you need to know what they are, how they operate, and how they heal. Feeling Clearly offers an accessible, embodied path for you to directly feel how your ordinary human experience already includes the capacity to work with emotional wounds as a path towards well-being. Nothing to get right or be worthy of — just learning how to feel clearly and thoroughly.
In this series you will learn:
A simple way to understand, feel, and navigate your emotions
How to monitor and tend to your level of emotional activation
How emotional wounds can become a doorway to greater freedom
PLEASE NOTE BEFORE REGISTERING: The daylong retreat offers a contemplative, meditation-based approach to working with emotions. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy, counseling, or medical treatment. Bruce Pardoe is not a licensed therapist and does not diagnose or treat psychological issues. If you are currently in crisis, under psychiatric care, or working with an active trauma diagnosis, please check in with Bruce at bpardoe@heartfluency.com before registering to make sure this offering is a good fit.
Dana: During the series, there is an opportunity to offer a financial donation to Bruce as part of the Buddhist practice of dana (the practice of giving and receiving). All offerings are gratefully received and support the continuation of the Buddha’s teachings. BRUCE PARDOE DANA (DONATION)
Bio: Bruce Pardoe is a member of Mountain Stream’s Teacher Council. His personal healing journey with complex trauma led him to develop the radically gentle Heart Fluency method for engaging emotional wounds and afflictive patterns as portals to our essential well-being and happiness. Heart Fluency combines neuroscience and the unconditional nourishment of a healing awareness in an uplifting, heart-centered approach.
For more than 40 years Bruce has been navigating and facilitating the path of inner healing. After spending over two years on silent retreat he became a meditation teacher in the Vipassana tradition of Buddhism. He has completed Spirit Rock’s Meditation Center’s 2 year Community Dharma Leader training and has studied extensively in Asia in the traditions of Tibetan Buddhism and Advaita. Bruce has also trained in Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement and Hakomi’s body-centered psychotherapy.
