Bio: Devin Berry is an Insight Meditation teacher and Core Guiding Teacher at the Insight Meditation Society. A practitioner since 1999, his teaching is rooted in the classical foundations of Buddhist practice and informed by many periods of silent retreat practice. He teaches residential retreats, daylongs, and community gatherings throughout the United States.
Known for a warm and grounded teaching style that often includes humor and storytelling, Devin invites a direct and compassionate meeting with life as it is. His work reflects a deep respect for the traditional path of awakening while remaining responsive to the conditions of contemporary life and the shared human world we inhabit together.
He teaches retreats and programs with communities and centers including Insight Meditation Society, Forest Refuge, Spirit Rock, and other Dharma communities.
