Sitting Groups Many sitting groups in the Sierra Foothills are more or less closely affiliated with Mountain Stream Meditation Center. Most of these groups are Insight Meditation groups, but please call for details. A typical format for these groups is to meet for 90 minutes. Most groups will sit for 40 minutes immediately at the start of the time period, and then will spend the rest of the time in some sort of Dharma study, either
