In the Footsteps of the Buddha
Often, during the early winter months of the year, John Travis leads a pilgrimage to India, to visit the important places in the Buddha's life. Christy Tews is the trip organizer. Sites visited are

Pilgrimage to Mt. Kailash
In 2014 John Travis will lead a pilgrimage to Mt. Kailash in Tibet. Mt. Kailash is the sacred mountain in many religions, including Buddhism, Bon, Jainism and Hinduism. Buddhists have made the pilgrimage to Mt. Kailash for thousands of years. Pilgrims circumnambulate the mountain, a 32 mile trek that includes an 18,000 foot pass.
