Mt. Kailas in Tibet is the sacred mountain in many religions, including Buddhism, Bon, Jainism, Hinduism and the Native American Hopis. Buddhists have made the pilgrimage to Mt. Kailas for thousands of years. Pilgrims circumnambulate the mountain, a 32 mile culmination of this trip, that includes an 18,000 foot pass.
This trek is a wonderful journey full of life-changing happenings. It is beautiful, exciting and spiritually moving. The trip takes almost a full month, and costs about $4,500. There are number of difficulties associated with it. We welcome you to inquire of Christy Tews, the trip Logistics Coordinator.
