Mountain Stream Meditation Center supports Buddhist Meditation in the Northern California Sierra Foothills area. We have been active since 1986. We support a number of weekly sitting groups in many communities, and we hold a number of daylongs and longer retreats each year. We publish and distribute our newsletter, Dharma Stream, twice yearly to over 2,500 individuals. Our mission is to serve as a center for the Buddhist community in the Northern California Sierra Foothills area.

We currently are renovating a new facility located in Nevada City, California. Expected completion is Spring 2012. We submitted our building plans to the city on January 30, and hope to hear back within a month. Click here to learn more about this new and exciting project
